Food Technology Teacher - Birmingham - September Start

A secondary school in Birmingham is currently looking to appoint a passionate and motivated Food Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a supply basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is enthusiastic about delivering engaging practical lessons and inspiring students within Design & Technology.The Role:

• Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging and practical lessons
• Monitoring student progress and supporting achievement
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with the wider DT department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting
• Be passionate, organised, and proactive
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
