Quantity Surveyor

PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Residential Groundworks Sector to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to Join their Commercial team on a permanent basis. This role with be based in Northampton.\n\nQuantity Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities\n\nPerform the closeout process, ensuring all contract terms are met and payments are verified.\nWork with the project team to evaluate the impact of budget changes.\nEnsuring all commercial accountabilities are undertaken in a timely manner, with a high degree of accuracy and measure.\nPreparing and reviewing tenders with estimators and assisting with understanding the client's requirements to offer value engineering.\nReview and validate weekly cost monitors, comparing forecasted costs with actual costs.\nForecasting monthly and annual profit figures ensuring figures are maintained throughout the lifetime of the project.\nAllocating work to sub-contractors including assistance with procurement when required.\nUndertake site visits to administer the contract in line with project progress.Quantity Surveyor Requirements\n\nBSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course\nHighly computer literate including Microsoft Office and confident in managing and working with large data sets\nResidential Groundworks background is Essential\nOther Groundworks and Civils experience may be considered\nQS or Senior QS with Groundworks experience will be considered\nProfessional membership of appropriate body\nGood data interrogation skills\nBid Knowledge\nExcellent legal/contractual knowledge\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills\nValid driving licenceQuantity Surveyor Benefits\n\nSalary - £40,000 - £75,000 DOE\nCompany Car or Car Allowance\nDiscretional Bonus Scheme\n23 days holiday, rising to a maximum of 28 days\nCompany pension scheme\nGroup Life Insurance (2X Annual Salary)\nHealthy Living PaymentsIf you are interested in this Quantity Surveyor role, please apply or contact Jack Brown at PSR Solutions
